✈️ Meet Crystal

So as I’ve mentioned, you might already know our family.

We’ve been living in Hamburg for the past 8 years, and before that, we were always somewhere around the Southtowns. If you’ve ever stopped me and asked, “Are you that girl that runs in the snow?”—yes… that’s me 😊

Running has been part of my life for over 25 years. I’ve completed 10 marathons, one ultra marathon (still my biggest accomplishment!), and more half marathons than I can count. It’s been a minute since my last one, but I’ll get back there. Running keeps me grounded—it keeps me me.

I’ve lived in the Buffalo area my entire life, and over the years, I’ve truly grown to love everything about it. My family is here—my mom and brother still live locally—and that means everything to me.

🏒 A Buffalo Sports Girl at Heart

I’ve always been a sports girl. I love baseball and lacrosse, but hockey is my favorite—and I have my dad to thank for that.

Some of my best memories are going to Buffalo Sabres games with him—meeting players, getting autographs, even getting into the locker room after games. My dad, “Big Tom,” wasn’t shy, and because of him, I got to experience things most kids only dream about.

Losing him a few years ago was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. He’s deeply missed, but those memories mean everything to me.

💛 Roots, Friendships & Career

I’m lucky to still have my high school friends—something I truly don’t take for granted. Life is busy these days (a lot of ball fields and ice rinks!), but those friendships are still such an important part of my life.

I stayed local for college, earning both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Canisius College. I spent the first 20 years of my career in the mental health and human services field. That chapter taught me so much—about resilience, compassion, and just how strong people can be. It takes a special kind of person to do that work, and I was lucky to be surrounded by so many who truly cared.

👨‍👩‍👦 Family First

About 10 years ago, we welcomed our son—and from the very beginning, we knew exactly who he was. “Strong-willed” is one way to put it 😊

He’s our only child—and the only grandchild on both sides—so it’s safe to say he’s surrounded by love. These days, our schedule revolves a lot around his sports, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

🌊 A Love for Travel (Especially the Beach!)

Travel has always been part of my life—it just looks a little different these days.

Growing up, my family took yearly trips to Myrtle Beach—a place that will always feel like home to me. It’s even where we got married. (My mom would move there tomorrow if she could!)

I’ve spent time in Siesta Key and now we find ourselves returning often to Pensacola—our home away from home.

There’s just something about the water—the sand, the waves—it resets everything. I enjoy city travel too, but beach vacations? That’s where my heart is.

🌎 This Next Chapter

A few years ago, our family decided it was time for a change. I stepped away from my career in human services, and in 2026, we started this new chapter—helping others plan their dream vacations.

And I truly love it.

Travel has always meant something special to me, and now I get to help others create those same memories with their families. I can’t wait to keep exploring the world—and helping you do the same.
